Sr. Application Support Developer

Description

The Sr. Application Support Developer position will be responsible for supporting multiple hosted web applications. As a member of the technology team, the ideal candidate should have a full understanding of legacy and current systems, new projects, development architecture and practices, QA and testing processes, and deployment schedules.

This position will monitor and troubleshoot urgent web application issues at the code and database level, including analyzing and tuning queries, indexes, and table design. Additionally, this role will identify, design and code application changes to create more stable applications, improve performance, fault tolerance, monitoring and alerting, and will work directly with infrastructure engineers to ensure that Ingo’s infrastructure can meet application team needs and vice versa.

This position will also build a knowledge base and run sheets to allow monitoring and resolution of common application issues on an individual and team level.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot production web application issues and debug web applications at the code and database level
  • Design code, error handling and process improvements to resolve ongoing issues
  • Proactively drive the team’s ability to meet internal and external SLAs for uptime and response/recovery times
  • Work closely with the development team to fully understand legacy systems, current projects, development pipelines and practices, QA and testing processes, deployment schedule, etc.
  • Monitor Server Startup/Shutdown Procedures for Patching as well as assisting with quarterly after-hours patching
  • Create a knowledge base and document solutions for common production issues
  • Rotate after-hours and weekend on-call application support
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in the design, deployment, and maintenance of web applications across all areas of IT hosting and operations, preferably in a mid-sized company environment
  • Proficient in developing resolutions for web facing service solutions
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute improvements independently and as a team
  • Working knowledge of financial services applications, payments, and PCI compliance
  • Determined self-starter with a personal commitment to time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, company where each team member is expected to deliver significant results

Required Technical Skills

The candidate should have extensive training on and experience with computer software and hardware, including servers, network devices and systems from most of the following platform technology:

  • Microsoft .NET Development, specifically C#, ASP.NET, WebAPI services, WCF services and .NET Core
  • Microsoft SQL Server – enterprise-grade database design, query design and analysis, db tuning
  • Azure DevOps
  • SDLC processes
  • Application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, What's Up Gold
  • Co-Location Datacenter Hosting Infrastructure

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in system operations, information technology, computer science or management information systems (or the equivalent in relevant work experience)
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience developing and supporting production web applications
  • Prior experience as a Senior .NET Developer or similar role preferred

Integration Specialist - Alpharetta

Description

Ingo Money’s Integration Specialist is a critical member of the Payments Integration team and is responsible for the integration process for Ingo clients. The Specialist will be expected to continuously improve the overall integration process; thereby decreasing time to market for Ingo clients. The Specialist will be responsible for managing relationships with the clients and will lead customer integrations, collaborating with internal staff to ensure a smooth integration for each client. The Specialist will also be cross-trained on all internal daily settlement and reconciliation processes to support clients and the platform, as well as the network registration process.

  • Manage client integration projects, create and manage project plans, deliverables and milestones
  • Manage procedures and customer facing documentation for integration projects
  • Ensure materials are up to date, as processes can change frequently
  • Collaborate with Product Development teammates to build customer facing documentation such as manuals, presentations, etc.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Ability to understand technical systems and requirements and able to clearly express these concepts to clients and internal teams
  • Proficiency in using table-based systems that operate on SQL commands

Position requires availability/flexibility to work a rotating 8 hour shift (5 days per week) within the hours of operation as listed below:

  • 9am-10pm Monday-Friday
  • 9am-6pm Saturday, Sunday, Holidays

Qualifications
